When Nova High School wanted to advance their machining and programming courses, they found the Levil LMV-F400 CNC milling machine with a FANUC 0i-F control. The Levil LMV-F400 milling machine lets students experience real-world industrial applications in a compact, non-intimidating package.
Working with a real milling machine students get accustomed to the sights, sounds and feeling of operating a machine tool – which you do not get from learning on a simulator alone. The hands-on training helps students make the connections between the software and programming work and the real world applications they will face in the workplace.

The small footprint with easy access allows portability, eliminating intimidation that much larger machines can impose on students when first entering CNC programs. The portable machine runs on a standard single-phase 110vAC outlet and is capable of being moved from classroom to classroom through a standard doorway.
The FANUC CNC Certified Education Training program is an industry certification available to qualified high schools, community colleges, and universities. The program certifies instructors at educational institutions to train their students to program, set-up and operate CNC machine tools using FANUC’s control platform.
