Bearing Maintenance Training System Plus
DAC Worldwide’s Bearing Maintenance Training System Plus (204E-PAC) is a heavy-duty learning package that allows for in-depth training in the identification, installation, and removal of a variety of industrial-quality rolling element bearings. The package includes a Bearing Maintenance Training System (204E), a Bearing Maintenance Tool Kit (204-001), a Bearing Heater (204-002), and a Bearing Inner Race Puller Tool (204-005).
With the Bearing Maintenance Training System, learners will gain experience on a realistic, heavy-duty device that provides for two student workstations. Using two of the four CNC-machined stub shafts provided, in combination with the shaft mounting brackets, student training can take place at both ends of the device. Learners will use the trainer’s industrial-grade components to study topics such as bearing identification systems, rolling element bearing construction, bearing maintenance pre-check, and more. Not only do the components provide durability to stand up to frequent use, but they also aide learners in becoming better prepared for the tasks they will encounter on the job.
This training package includes an assortment of rotors, gears, and bearings, which allow for a variety of hands-on exercises. The trainer also provides skill-building for industry-relevant tasks, like mounting radial ball bearings, installing angular contact bearings, hydraulic mounting, and much more.
Practice Hands-On Mechanical Skills for Various Applications
Working as the center piece of this training package, DAC Worldwide’s Basic Bearing Maintenance Trainer features a 7-gauge steel baseplate, with provisions for mounting across the width of a standard shop bench. It includes four (4) steel shaft mounting brackets, four (4) high-grade alloy steel CNC-machined stub shafts, eight (8) bearing types, and a shaft seal application. A selection of large diameter spherical roller bearings, radial ball bearings, angular contact bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, a needle bearing and shaft seals are provided. Additionally, “loose” and “interference” fit bearing seating locations are provided. The trainer also includes an Allen wrench and combination wrench set.
The Bearing Maintenance Tool Kit is a heavy-duty bearing maintenance-related tool kit that includes a variety of specialty bearing installation and removal tools, as well as supplemental items often used with these tools to improve safety and cleanliness, while reducing unnecessary damage to rotating equipment. The tool kit includes four (4) spanner wrenches, two (2) bearing pullers, a bearing separator, a soft-blow hammer, a shaft protector, and a feeler gauge set.
DAC Worldwide’s Cone Heater is a specialty bearing heating tool that facilitates the installation of industrial rolling element bearing in circumstances where a press-type fit or interference fit is encountered. To round out the package, the Bearing Inner Race Puller Tool simplifies a variety of unique tasks associated with bearing that are externally seated, and for removal of shaft seals.
Expand Training with Additional Mechanical Options
The Bearing Maintenance Training System is only one of DAC Worldwide’s Vibration Analysis mechanical training systems, which also include an Advanced Bearing Maintenance Trainer (204E), a Journal and Fluid-Film Bearing Trainer (204J-000), a Gear Maintenance Trainer, and more.
Student Training Manual Included, With Optional Textbook Available
A copy of this course’s Student Training Manual is included with the training system. Sourced from the Exercises and Learning Activities, the Student Training Manual takes the technical content contained in the learning objectives, and combines it into one perfectly-bound book. The optional textbook, called Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance, presents clear objectives and performance standards for learners. If you would like to inquire about purchasing additional Student Training Manuals or Textbooks for your program, please contact your local DAC Worldwide Representative for more information.

Our learning programs develop job-ready skills that have been proven time and again. Take a look at how we can help you be successful!
Colleges are challenged to offer courses whenever students are available – and frequently, wherever they are available. Students want courses that are available on campus as well as from home while also providing strong hands-on skills for the technology demands facing them. Meeting these demands is no small task.
Amatrol has learning programs that allow colleges to excel in this demanding environment. We offer a full range of learning systems, both in a traditional equipment lab setting as well as in a virtual lab, that meet and exceed students' expectations.
