DAC Worldwide’s Water Tube Boiler Model (355) depicts a highly-detailed scale model of a common water tube boiler in a technically-accurate, professionally-crafted design. The model supports training in the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers found within utility systems in industrial facilities.

Based on a common make and model of a boiler, manufactured by Nebraska Boiler, the product is a complete to-scale replication of typical boiler found in industry today. Based on a D-type boiler design, the model includes significant detailing of internal components, which are visible through a cutaway shell.

The model features exterior detail including an access door, drum ends, observation ports, soot blower connection, support skid, flue gas outlet, wall stiffeners, steam outlet, vent connection, safety valves, and exterior burner detail in a 6” x 8” x 12” size.

Enhance Learning Using DAC Worldwide’s Hands-On Water Tube Boiler Model

DAC Worldwide’s hands-on models take learning to the next level, offering both visual and physical learning styles to appeal to a variety of learners.

This Water Tube Boiler Model features a primary shell fabricated from ABS sheet with a cutaway, allowing for a view of internal components. This realistic mechanical model’s interior detail includes a feedwater drum, front wall refractory, side wall insulation, clear acrylic steam drum, and many more industrial-grade component replicas. Learners will use these components to study topics such as the purpose of boilers, the two typical sources of feedwater, effects of improper feedwater levels in the steam drum, and more.

To ensure an ideal training experience, the model also includes a durable PVC base, with provisions for tabletop mounting. All of the construction throughout the model is to-scale, and the perfect 3-dimensional solution for engineering study, promotion, and training.

Expand Training with Additional Mechanical Models

The Water Tube Boiler Model is only one of DAC Worldwide’s expansive mechanical training models, which also includes a Fire Tube Boiler Model (#356), Extended HVAC-R Cutaway Series (#373), a Piping System Model (#299), and many more!

Advanced Manufacturing Skills TrainersOur learning programs develop job-ready skills that have been proven time and again. Take a look at how we can help you be successful!

Colleges are challenged to offer courses whenever students are available – and frequently, wherever they are available. Students want courses that are available on campus as well as from home while also providing strong hands-on skills for the technology demands facing them. Meeting these demands is no small task.

Amatrol has learning programs that allow colleges to excel in this demanding environment. We offer a full range of learning systems, both in a traditional equipment lab setting as well as in a virtual lab, that meet and exceed students' expectations.
